Tour Productions started life as Primelake Productions over 22 years ago. It's heart and mind is Tommy Winstone, who started as a sound engineer for the likes of Chris Rea,The Waterboys and many more before moving into tour management and tour production.

Tommy specialises in finding the right suppliers and crew and taking care of all touring logistics. This includes everything from budgets, tour itineraries and tour accounts both before, during and after the touring period.

Tour logistics aren't just about booking hotels, flights, catering, PA, lighting, back line and transportation, but about making the right connections and doing the best deals at the right times, so that the tour or event runs problem free with the best show possible. Tommy has a wealth of experience in handling tour logistics around the world, involving the organisation of carnets, freighting of equipment, foreign taxation administration and the need for a smile and a pocket full of dollars in some of the more challenging areas!

Obviously, the key is the budget. Tommy prides himself and has a deservedly strong reputation for producing the best show possible for the best possible price, which is: Within Budget (magic words to the managers and record labels, although frustrating sometimes for artistes who need an explanation for some of the decisions taken - something else Tommy has huge experience in carrying out..)

He will set out the options of logistics, production and costs so that the artiste can choose the right package to suit their creative needs and budget.

With the many contacts Tommy has built up over the years, he can provide the best value for money, whether the tour is in clubs, festivals, arenas, or a combination of all of those around the world. Tommy has worked with venues such as Buckingham Palace and the White House (no venue too large)

Tommy has worked with artistes such as: Annie Lennox, Will Young, Faithless, Dave Stewart, Johnny Marr, The Libertines, Safri Duo, Within Temptation and is currently with Basement Jaxx.

Tommy also has experience with some of the top DJs in the UK. In 2013 he was pleased to be working once again with  DJ Fresh Live and looking after them during their extensive touring world wide. Also during 2013 he took care of Redlight Live and his production for all his Festival shows.

In 2014 Tommy was the Artist Production Manager for Pyramid & Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival, handling the logistics and production for over 58 demanding acts including Metallica, Kasabian, Arcade Fire and Dolly Parton. This was the first time that Glastonbury had used someone with Tommy's live touring experience at its cutting edge and was hugely successful.

No sooner had Tommy scraped off the Worthy Farm mud than he went up to Leicester Football Ground to manage their annual music festival before returning to the road with Basement Jaxx, producing a show that has been reviewed as one of the most colourful and exciting live shows around this year.
